SPIRITUAL GROWTH: Letting Go, Finding Connections, & Building a New Circle

In my journey with Ashana Works, I've had the privilege of guiding individuals through their spiritual growth and healing processes. One profound aspect of this journey is the experience of outgrowing our current circle of friends and even family as we evolve spiritually. This transformation is not a judgment but rather a natural consequence of personal growth.

connections

One book that deeply resonates with me and supports this perspective is "The Seat of the Soul" by Gary Zukav. This insightful read explores the concept of spiritual evolution and how it impacts our connections with others. It sheds light on the idea that as we grow spiritually, our relationships may naturally shift.

The Scientific Backing - Why Like-Minded Connections Matter

Scientific research and expert opinions reinforce the importance of surrounding oneself with like-minded individuals:

  1. Positive Influence - I've come across studies such as those published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology that highlight how individuals who maintain supportive and like-minded social networks are more likely to achieve their personal goals. Source

  2. Reduced Stress - Research from the American Journal of Epidemiology has shown that having a strong social network with shared values can reduce stress and increase overall well-being. Source

  3. Boosted Resilience - The Journal of Happiness Studies has pointed out that individuals who belong to communities aligning with their values tend to exhibit greater resilience when facing life's challenges. Source

Cultivating New Connections - A Personal Journey for Ashana Works

Breaking long-term bonds can be emotionally challenging, but it's essential to do so with compassion. It's about embracing the next chapter of your spiritual and healing journey. Here's how I've been cultivating a new circle of like-minded friends, clients, and inspirations:

Exploring Your Interests:

  • Attend workshops, seminars, and events related to spirituality, tarot reading, and reiki healing. Websites like Eventbrite and Meetup often list such events in your local area.

  • Consider enrolling in courses or classes offered by reputable organizations or instructors in your field. Websites like Udemy, Coursera, or Skillshare offer a variety of online courses that can connect you with like-minded individuals.

Online Communities:

  • Reddit: Subreddits like r/spirituality, r/tarot, and r/reiki are active communities where you can engage in discussions and connect with people who share your interests.

  • Facebook Groups: Search for relevant Facebook groups related to spirituality, tarot reading, and reiki healing. These groups often host discussions and events.

  • LinkedIn: Use LinkedIn to connect with professionals in your field. Join relevant LinkedIn groups and participate in discussions to expand your network.

Local Gatherings:

  • Check out Meetup.com for local gatherings related to spirituality, holistic healing, and wellness. You can search for events in your specific location and attend those that align with your interests.

  • Visit local spiritual centers, yoga studios, or wellness retreats. These places often host events, classes, and gatherings where you can meet like-minded individuals in person.

  • Consider reaching out to local practitioners of tarot reading and reiki healing. They may have insights into local gatherings and events in your area.

Final Thoughts on Breaking Down and Rebuilding Your Circle

Remember to approach these connections with an open heart and a genuine desire to learn and grow together. Building a network of like-minded individuals can be a rewarding and enriching experience on your spiritual journey with Ashana Works.

I think this speaks a lot to me and my journey, trying to tear down the old and replace it with the new (as in relationships) it’s not easy facing the fear of the loved ones I have and losing them because they no longer fit what I need

This is an ongoing effort in my life. It would help if my trust issues weren't as consuming as they are.
